About This Project

Originally built as the Stables for a nearby manor house, this stunning riverside property was renovated to an exceptional standard to make it now a luxury self-catering property.  Set within some of the most stunning Devon landscapes, it was originally designed by the celebrated Regency architect John Nash.  The later renovations to this home introduced a range of eco-home features that the property now enjoys, alongside the smart home and lighting control system.

Whilst the home is blessed with amazing views, it’s own private beach and a heated swimming pool, there is no lack of entertainment delivered from the smart home system.  With a managed wireless network, there is blanket internet access throughout, ensuring that guests get fast internet wherever they are in the house.  The latest generation 4K video content is delivered to the Media Room and Play Room with hospitality features integrated to ensure that self-catering guest accounts are not retained after their stay.

In addition, the property features multi-room audio courtesy of Control4.  Using the Control4 Touchscreens distributed around the property guests will find an intuitive interface allowing them to listen to their favourite music in any room.  The final touch is the smart lighting solution, again from Control4, allowing guests to easily recall the pre-defined lighting scenes to ensure the ambience and light in each space is perfect.
