About This Project

Set in the wilds of Dartmoor, this historic building features the very latest 4K Cinema setup, lightning fast internet and Control4 home control system – 600 years of history colliding with modern living requirements.

It was a pleasure to work with the new owners of this luxury holiday let in order to ensure that they could benefit from these modern features.  Delivering fast internet was the first challenge and then ensuring that the thick stone walls didn’t obstruct the wireless coverage across two buildings.  An ultra short throw projector was next on the cards, coupled with ELAC floorstanding speakers and an Anthem AVR for an immersive cinema space for the families to enjoy together.  Lastly we combined all of these products in to a Control4 system so that guests would have easy and intuitive system to use whilst the owners and property managers would benefit from an element of remote access for things like heating controls.
